Server monitoring with 24/7 response

  • Remote monitoring of web server, database servers, email service, DNS and server load.

  • Monitoring alerts sent to sysadmins on service down.

  • Password-protected access to our trouble ticket system where you can see the alert response audit trail. 
  • Access to our 24/7 SOS Response telephone number for reporting server/service-down issues not already in our ticket system. This connects you direct to the second-level on-call engineers.
  • 24/7 SOS Response telephone number provided to your datacentre also.
  • Following an alert we will try to advise methods to reduce the likelihood of further incidents.
Our support team respond within 15 minutes of a critical alert:
  • First-level team will follow the Server Emergency Action Plan (SEAP) for your server and attempt to restart the failed service.
  • If restart fails, the first-level team will perform cautious basic troubleshooting (provided that your server is configured in a reasonably standard manner).
  • The first-level team can be authorised to contact your datacentre to request a reboot of a crashed server.
  • 24/7 escalation to second-level support (the staff member who usually administers your server when available) if restart fails.
  • Alerts are resolved by first-level team are investigated by the second-level team the next working day to determine the possible causes.

Monthly: £75 per server.

Second-level team SOS response rates for customers with our Server Maintenance service:
Mon-Fr 9am-6pm (UK) except public holidays - £55 per hour (15 minute chunks, first 15 minutes free).
Out-of-hours - £90 per hour (15 minute chunks, 15 minute minimum)

Second-level team SOS response rates for customers without our Server Maintenance service:
Mon-Fr 9am-6pm (UK) except public holidays - £90 per hour (15 minute chunks, first 15 minutes free).
Out-of-hours - £120 per hour (15 minute chunks, 30 minute minimum)

Prices exclude UK VAT. No VAT is charged for customers outside the EU, or for EU customers with a valid VAT number.
